Sr. Private Sector Development Specialist

Background:
The World Bank intends to hire a Sr. Private Sector Development Specialist (Sr. PSD Specialist) for its Finance and Private Sector (FP) Team in Islamabad Country Office (CO). As part of the FP Team, the Sr. PSD Specialist will be responsible for leading the dialogue with the concerned departments of the Government of Pakistan as well as private and financial sector stakeholders, with an objective of sustainable poverty alleviation.
The FP Team also provides cross support to other sectors within the Islamabad CO and other COs in the South Asia Region. The Team is also designing and implementing economic uplift programs in KP, FATA and Balochistan.
Selection Criteria:
1. Master's degree in finance, business administration, or economics from a university of international repute.
2. Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in the private and financial sector development.
3. Strong conceptual, analytical, inter-personal, and English communication skills.
