�UNIVERSITY OF THE PUNJAB
This largest and oldest seat of higher education learning in Pakistan was established in 1882 at Lahore. It was the first to be established in the sub- continent in muslim majority area. The university strives to provide a conductive environment for the pursuit of the academic activities. This institution has rather become the first choice for admission seeking students due to it`s quality degrees, pleasant environment and low tuition fees.

The University has a summer camp at Khanaspur located at the height of 7000ft in the Himalayan range near Ayubia. This campus in addition to provide research facilities is also used as recreational canter for the faculty and students.

The university also has a campus at Gujranwala, with 4 disciplines i-e Business Administration, Commerce, Law and Information Technology. Few more disciplines will be added in the near future.

The University comprises of 4 campuses, 13 faculties, 9 constituent colleges, over 63 departments, centres, instituted and 500 affiliated colleges.



�NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
NUST is a multi- campus University spread all over Pakistan. It`s central campus is in Islamabad with other campuses at Rawalpindi, Risalpur and Karachi.
Nust`s strategic thrust is to introduce state-of-the-art technologies in our academic programmes and go beyondthe traditional educationthrough inculcating the spirit of innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship for the promotion of a qualitative leap in our industrial capability, correlating the national needs.
One of the prominent feature of University is it`s strong linkeages with foreighn Universities of repute. These foreign countries include Australia, China, France, Germany, Japan, korea, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand, UK, Ukraine, USA and Turkey.


� LAHORE UNIVERSITY OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCES ( LUMS )
The Lahore University of Management Sciences is a national university, established by sponsors belonging to the counte and public sector corporations. Established in 1986 and set in historic traditional city of Lahore, LUMS is one of Pakistan`s most prestigious institute. A pioneer in case study teaching methods in Pakistan , it offers education in social sciences, Law and Engineering. The university trains the youth for the leaders of the 21st century.

�NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF COMPUTER AND EMERGING SCIENCES (FAST )

The National University of Computer and emerging Sciences has the honor of being the first multi-campusprivate sector university set up under the Federal charter granted by Ordinance no. XX111.

It inherited four first rate computer science institutes located at Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar. Over the years FAST has become the hallmark of excellence in academic arena, domestic market and international community.

�UNIVERSITY OF KARACHI
Univesity of Karachi has established through the Parliament as a Federal University in 1951. However, through another act of the Parliament in 1962 it`s status was redefined as university of the province Sindh.
It comprises 8 faculties with which all colleges of the city are affiliated. B.S, M.S, M.Phil and Ph.D classes under 5 of these faculties Arts, Science, Pharmacy, Commerce and Islamic Learning are conducted on the campus.

6. Virtual University of Pakistan
The Virtual University, Pakistan�s first University based completely on modern Information and Communication Technologies, was established by the Government as a public sector, not-for-profit institution.Using free-to-air satellite television broadcasts and the Internet, the Virtual University allows students to follow its rigorous programs regardless of their physical locations.The Virtual University aims at providing the very best courses to not only its own students but also to students of all other universities in the country.

The University opened its virtual doors in 2002 and in a short span of time its outreach has reached over sixty cities of the country with more than a hundred associated institutions providing infrastructure support to the students. Pakistani students residing overseas in several other countries of the region are also enrolled in the University's programs.
